Account Deletion

FK Tutorials operates the FK Tutorials app and website at app.fktutorials.in. This page explains how students can request deletion of their FK Tutorials account, what we delete, and what limited records we retain where required for accounting, legal, tax, refund, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

FK Tutorials does not currently provide an in-app self-service deletion button. To request account deletion:

1. Send an email to fktutorials01@gmail.com from the email address registered on your FK Tutorials account.
2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
3. Include your registered email address and, if available, the phone number on your FK Tutorials profile so we can verify the account.

We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days. If we cannot verify that the request came from the account owner, we may ask for additional confirmation before taking action.

2. What Happens to Your Account

After a verified deletion request is processed, your FK Tutorials account will no longer be usable for login, course access, profile updates, purchases, FK Points, or app notifications. Any active course access will be revoked as part of closing the account. Account deletion does not automatically create a refund for past purchases; refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy.

3. Data We Delete or Deactivate

Where it is not required for legal, accounting, tax, refund, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes, we delete, deactivate, or anonymize data associated with your account, including:

• Login access and authentication credentials for your FK Tutorials account
• Profile details such as name, phone number, date of birth, class/year, college name, address, WhatsApp preference, and onboarding answers
• Device tokens used for Android app push notifications
• Non-essential FK Points balance data and referral display data
• Public display of reviews submitted from your account, where applicable
• Video progress and other course-usage records that are no longer needed after account closure

4. Data We Retain

Some records cannot be deleted immediately because they are needed to document completed transactions, comply with Indian accounting and tax obligations, process refunds or disputes, or protect the platform from fraud and abuse. We may retain:

• Completed purchase records, invoice/order details, payment status, Razorpay order and payment references, and terms-acceptance records
• Physical book delivery records linked to completed orders, where a book was purchased or dispatched
• Refund, chargeback, dispute, fraud-prevention, and support records related to your purchases or account
• Accounting and tax records, retained for the period required by applicable law and normally up to 8 financial years
• Security and administrative audit logs, retained for integrity, abuse-prevention, and compliance review

Records retained for these purposes are restricted to authorized team members and are not used to provide active app access after your account is closed.
